Obituary

MARBLEHEAD – Natalie R. (Camenker) Sherwin, 82, of Marblehead, loving wife of the late Mark Sherwin, died on June 18th, 2025 in Peabody, surrounded by her beloved children.

Born in Peabody, Natalie was the daughter of the late Reuben and Ida (Tanzer) Camenker. Raised and educated in Swampscott, Natalie graduated from Swampscott High School and went on to attend Mount Ida College where she earned her Associate's degree.

A woman of remarkable spirit and grace, Natalie dedicated herself to raising her four adored children — Ian, Randy, Melanie, and Stacey—who were the center of her universe. While she held various employment roles, including working at a shoe store and serving as an administrator at a car dealership, her greatest profession was that of a homemaker, where she instilled love, laughter, and warmth into every corner of their lives. Natalie was often celebrated for her unwavering devotion to family, her infectious sense of humor, and her incredible ability to find joy in the simple pleasures of life. She delightfully embraced the three F's: Food, Fine Arts, and Flowers, which enriched her days and those of her family. A lover of animals, she had a special fondness for Melanie's beloved dog, Stella, proving her nurturing spirit extended beyond her human family. Survived by her children and a multitude of grandchildren, Natalie's legacy of love will endure through the generations she cherished so deeply. Her sweet nature and kindness will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to share in her light. In addition to her parents, Natalie is predeceased by her beloved husband, Mark Sherwin and her sister, Janice Smith.

Natalie leaves behind her children, Ian Sherwin of Salem, Randy Sherwin of Peabody, Melanie Dean of Marstons Mills, and Stacey Connor and her husband, Patrick of Swampscott, her grandchildren, Taylor, Grey, Colby, Rylie, Charlie, Eddie, Brennan, Titian, and Lucian, her granddog, Stella, as well as extended family and friends.
