BYFIELD – Born to Frances and Leo Loschi, Pam spent her childhood in Malden, Massachusetts where she met her husband, Larry Griffin. Together they built a life in Byfield, where family became the center of their world and recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Known as “Grammie”, she was devoted to being the best mother and grandmother imaginable. She poured all of herself into every aspect of the children’s lives, making each of them feel deeply loved and special. She treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren, often traveling countless hours to attend as many games, performances, and special events as humanly possible.
Pam created a home filled with warmth, laughter, tradition, and love. She made the holidays spectacular with her seasonal decorating on full display. From building gingerbread houses to creating elaborate Easter baskets and planning trips to Santa’s Village, she was the kind of Grammie a child could only dream of.
Pam’s undying love for her family and friends was selfless, generous, and unforgettable. She loved spending countless hours at lunch with close friends from all stages of her life.
Pam is survived by her loving husband, Larry Griffin; her five children, Marc Griffin and his wife Heather, Chris Griffin and his wife Joanna, Laurie Griffin and her husband Matt, Matty Griffin and his wife Erica, and Melissa (Griffin) Carey and her husband George. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Kaila, Conor, Brooke, Nolan, Taylor, Callen, Kennedy, McKenzie, Georgie, and Jack. Her legacy will live on through each one of them.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Celebration of Life will be held at her home on Saturday, March 28th. Family and friends are welcome to stop by anytime from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For those that knew Pam, her generosity knew no bounds. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Children's Boston in Pam's memory. Assisting the family with the arrangements is O’Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) DANVERS.
