SALEM – Ms. Patricia E. (Hubley) Burnett, 85 of Salem passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, December 20th, 2023 in the comfort of her home in Salem.

Born in Salem, Pat was the daughter of the late Maurice and Catherine (Kuzma) Hubley. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School.

As a young mother, Pat worked mother hours to provide a warm and loving home for her son. Later in life, Pat endured a professional career as a medical secretary working in the healthcare industry at physicians' offices and most recently, Salem Orthopedic Surgeons until the time of her retirement.

A woman who loved all animals and the wildlife, Pat was happiest when sharing her love to an animal in need or admiring the wildlife right in her backyard. Above all else, Pat loved being in the company of her family. She will be deeply missed.

Surviving Pat are her son, Thomas Pyburn and his wife, Jennifer of Peabody; grandchildren, Tyler Pyburn and his wife, Dianne of Norfolk and Brendan Pyburn and his wife, Jillian Jakubowicz of Newbury; great-grandchildren, Jake, Cole, Rhett, Bryce and Ava and several nieces and nephews. Pat was predeceased by her siblings, Barbara, Richard and Maureen.
