STONEHAM – Mrs. Patricia Ann (Sargent) Hyland of Stoneham, beloved wife of Robert Hyland passed away on Monday, October 24th, 2022. She was born in Lynn, raised in Salem and graduated from Salem High School in 1974. She also graduated from North Shore Community College and Mount Ida College. Patricia worked throughout her life in the field of healthcare first as a mental health assistant and later in the field of Occupational Therapy.

Patricia was the daughter of the late Arthur C Sargent and Patricia M (Cherry) Sargent. She was a wonderful wife, mother, stepmother, sister, aunt, niece and cousin who took great pride in her family's accomplishments. Patricia enjoyed nature and spending time outdoors with her family, and particularly enjoyed birds and bird watching as well as antiquing with her daughter Alexandra.

Along with her loving husband Robert, Patricia is survived by her cherished daughter, Alexandra of Stoneham as well as her loving stepchildren Joshua of Revere and Jessica of Columbia, Missouri. She is also survived by her special aunt, Barbara (Cherry) Beech of North Easton, her dear brothers, Arthur C. Sargent and his wife, Kathleen of Salem, and Kenneth Sargent of Florida along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be missed by her family, friends, co-workers, and patients.
