BEVERLY – Patrick Joseph Keane, 78, of Beverly, formerly of Nashua, NH, passed away on Tuesday, April 16th, 2024 at the Lahey Medical Center in Burlington. He leaves his wife of 47 years, Paula Maria Lancisi and his son, Andrew Lancisi Keane.

Born in Cambridge, Patrick was the son of the late Denis and Sally Keane. A Somerville native, Patrick attended Boston College where he earned his master's degree in social work.

Patrick spent his professional career in the software industry where he achieved success in business development and mergers and acquisitions.

An incredible husband, father, and brother, Patrick never missed a sporting event or family gathering. He was also a dear and loyal friend to many.

Immensely proud of his heritage, in his leisure time, Patrick was happiest when performing as part of the Irish folk duo known as Shannachie. Traveling across the New England area for over 20 years, Patrick played his stand-up bass and sang along to traditional Celtic music.

Patrick loved his family and a good laugh above all else. He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his wife and son, Patrick is survived by his siblings, Francis Keane, and James McDonough, and 18 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased in death by his sister, the late Agnes Brewer.
