IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul F.
Miller
March 30, 1936 – September 8, 2025
DANVERS - Paul F. Miller, 89, of Danvers, beloved husband of 49 years to the late Sandra J. (Picillo) Miller, passed away at his home in Danvers on Monday, September 8th, 2025. Paul was the son of the late George and Marie (Cronin) Miller, he was born, raised, and educated in Malden. Paul left school at a young age to begin working and later proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1960. While serving in the Air Force as an ammunition specialist, Paul attained his GED as well as receiving a Medal of Good Conduct, both examples of the high standards of hard work and discipline he held himself to. Following his service, he started his own construction business, Paul's Walls, specializing in construction, drywall, and painting.
Paul was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family dearly. A very hard worker, he poured his heart into everything he did. With his friendly nature, warm smile, and striking blue eyes, he never met a stranger. He took great pride in building his own home—a symbol of his determination and perseverance.
Paul enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching western films and Judy Justice, as well as eating ice cream and sweets. However, one of his greatest joys in life was being "Papa" to his beloved granddaughter, Jayden. He cherished preparing her breakfast each morning and walking her to the bus stop. At Easter time, he would make multiple baskets full of treats and candy and leave them at every door in the house for her to find. Paul was an excellent dancer and adored dancing in the kitchen with his daughter or granddaughter, often just after watching the latest episode of Dancing with the Stars.
In his younger years, Paul enjoyed hunting, although he never once shot anything, it was more about appreciating the beauty of deer and time spent with friends than the sport itself. Paul brought joy, laughter, and love to those around him, he will be remembered for his devotion to family, his hardworking spirit, his generous heart, and his unwavering determination to never give up.
In addition to his parents and beloved wife, Paul is predeceased by his brother, George Miller, and his sister, Jean Hailey.
Paul is survived by his daughter, Melissa Nardone and her husband Bryan of Danvers, his son, Michael Miller and his wife Elizabeth of Topsfield, his granddaughter, Jayden Lapointe, his sisters-in-law, Marguerite Gonsalves and Pam Picillo, and many nieces and nephews.
