SALEM – Mr. Paul E. Ouellette, 83, of Salem, passed away on August 21st, 2025 at Beverly Hospital.

Born in Salem he was the son of the late Alcide G. and Marie P. (Dube) Ouellette. He was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of St. John's Preparatory School as a member of the class of 1959.

An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country as a member of the United States Army Special Forces Division during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Ouellette was the co-owner of Witch City Roofing and Witch City Venture Incorporated until 1992. He then matriculated to become the manager of the Roofing Division of Alpha Weather Proofing from 1996 until the time of his retirement in 2006.

A lifelong resident of the city of Salem, Paul was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and was a voracious book reader. He loved his family deeply and will be forever missed.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Leuven and her husband Andre, his sons, Scott Ouellette and Michael Ouellette and his wife Melissa, his five grandchildren, Kendall and Luke Leuven and Alexandra, Coleman and Quinn Ouellette, his brother, Richard Ouellette and his wife Sandra of Winston Salem, NC, his sister, Pauline Gaivin of Yelm, WA, his best friend, Paul Barrett of Danvers and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral service will be held at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebration, 84 Washington Sq. (at Salem Common) SALEM, Friday, August 29th at 11 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours prior to the service from 9 to 11 A.M. Private burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.
