BEVERLY – Mrs. Pauline Virginia (Gaspa) Fraser, 82 of Beverly, loving wife of Alfred R. "Butch" Fraser, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Salem Hospital with her family by her side.
Born in Salem, Pauline was the daughter of the late Francis Gaspa and Genevieve (Smagala) Tusinski. She was raised and educated in Salem, attending Salem Public Schools and was a graduate of Salem High School, class of 1959.
Mrs. Fraser embarked on a lengthy career at Salem Hospital, as the Senior supervisor of environmental services for 20+ years. Pauline was loved by everyone she encountered at work.
Mrs. Fraser was a social butterfly who loved spending time with her friends & family. She cherished her friendships throughout her life & would be found every Tuesday afternoon playing "Left, right, center" in the common room with them. Pauline loved Elvis & never missed an opportunity to dance. She was always up for any adventure that was sent her way; most recently attending her first Rugby game in Quincy! Her smile lit up every room she walked into, her quick wit kept us all laughing & her kindness was unmatched.
In addition to her loving husband Alfred with whom she shared 65 years of marriage, Pauline is survived by her daughter, Jeanne M. Fuller of Peabody; her sons, Alfred R. Fraser Jr. & his wife Victoria, Thomas M. Fraser & his wife Lisa, Michael F. Fraser & his wife Susan; her grandchildren; Richard Fuller, Ashley Spencer & her husband Bryan, Brian Fraser, Patrick Fraser, Stephanie Lorrey & her husband Micheal, Samantha Fraser, Alfred Fraser III & his wife Corey, Skyler Long & his wife Crimson, Thomas Fraser & his wife Laura, Crystal Deavilla & her husband Jason, Jacob Nunes & his wife Lexi, Michael Fraser & his fiancé Huyen Huynh, Nicole Ippolito & her husband Patrick. Pauline is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren. Pauline was predeceased by her parents, brothers, Robert Dailey, Richard Dailey, Lawrence Dailey and his wife, Elaine; and her son-in-law, Duane Fuller.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend Pauline's funeral which will be held at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, SALEM on Saturday, August 9th at 10 A.M. followed by her funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, 111 New Balch St., Beverly at 11 A.M. her burial will be privately held.
