SALEM - Mr. Pedro Juan Concepcion Freite was born on July 9, 1932 in Dorado, Puerto Rico to his deceased parents Agapita Freite and Guadalupe Concepcion. He passed away on October 26, 2022 after a long battle with his health.

Pedro had 2 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by two daughters and a son, he is preceded in death by a son. In Puerto Rico, Pedro was an expert gardener, barber and in his free time he loved to draw, fix cars, take care of his house, sing, learn and spend time with his great love, Jacinta Garcia. After arriving in the United States, Pedro loved walking, buying scratch-off tickets, watching Chavo del Ocho, and spending time with his friends downtown. At the time of his passing in Lynn, Massachusetts, he was with his wife and his beloved family. He is survived by his wife Jacinta Garcia, daughter Yokasta Abreu, sons Genaro Garcia and Katherine Perez-Curiel, Juan Abreu, grandchildren Cynthia Matos, Dania Matos, Yaira Matos, Lisabel Matos, Michael Garcia, Derek Garcia and great-grandchildren Anaya Lopez, Amari Grice , and Esmi Castillo. Pedro lived, loved and laughed for 90 wonderful years and he had stories and tales to prove it.

SALEM - Sr. Pedro Juan Concepcion Freite nació el 9 de Julio de 1932 en Dorado, Puerto Rico de sus padres difuntos Agapita Freite y Guadalupe Concepcion. Fallecio el 26 de Octubre de 2022 desupues de una batalla larga con su salud.

Pedro tenía 2 hermanos y 3 hermanas. Le sobreviven dos hijas y un hijo, le antecedió en la muerte un hijo. En Puerto Rico, Pedro era experto jardinero, barbero y en su tiempo libre le encantaba dibujar, arreglar carros, cuidar a u casa, cantar, aprender y pasar tiempo con su gran amor, Jacinta Garcia. Despues de llegar a Estados Unidos, Pedro le encantaba caminar, comprar boletos para raspar, mirar al Chavo del Ocho y pasar tiempo con sus amigos del centro. En el tiempo de su fallecimiento en Lynn, Massachusetts, estaba con su esposa y familia adorada. Le sobreviven su esposa Jacinta Garcia, su hija Yokasta Abreu, hijos Genaro Garcia y Katherine Perez-Curiel, Juan Abreu, sus nietos Cynthia Matos, Dania Matos, Yaira Matos, Lisabel Matos, Michael Garcia, Derek Garcia y bisnietos Anaya Lopez, Amari Grice, e Esmi Castillo. Pedro vivio, amo y rio por 90 anos maravillosos y estuvo historias y cuentos para demonstrarlo.
