SALEM- Mr. Philip Robert Griffin born February 17, 1951 in Salem, died two days shy of his 69th Birthday, on February 15, 2020.
Born in Salem, he was the loving son of the late H. Philip and Ethel M. (O'Leary) Griffin, longtime residents of Salem Willows.
Philip left Salem at a young age and resided in the Fort Lauderdale, Fl area for over 45 years recently moving back to Salem to be near family. Philip was a life-long War History Buff.
Philip is survived by his daughter, Amanda (Rice) List and son-in-law, Mickey List and was the proud grandfather, affectionately known as Paw-Paw, of Evan, Patrick, and Griffin "Fin" List all of Terrace Park, Ohio. Philip is also survived by his brothers, PJ (Noreen) Griffin and Kerry (Joanne) Griffin of Salem and his sisters, N. Malia (Flash) Griffin and Erin Griffin of Salem, his nephews, Michael Griffin, Connor (Kelly) Griffin and nieces, Emma Griffin and Kasey Griffin, his great niece, Layla Griffin, several cousins and extended family and many friends in Florida.
