DOVER, NH - Reverend William E. Neenan, Jr. 87, of Dover, NH, formerly of Salem, MA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024 at Riverside Rest Home in Dover, New Hampshire.
Born in Salem, he was the son of the late William E. Neenan Sr. and the late Doris (Gonyea) Neenan Foley. He was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School. Following graduation Bill enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and proudly served his country during the Korean War.
A man of God, Reverend Neenan devoted himself to the Church and serving those in his parish. He was the former Pastor of the Restoration Church of Peace in Rochester, NH for many years and former Associate Pastor and member of Harvest of Praise Church of God for several years, where he made many lifelong friends.
Surviving Bill are his children, William E. Neenan III and Dawn Louise Pepper both of Texas, his 6 grandchildren, and his siblings, Cynthia Argetes, Jacqueline Michaud, James Neenan and Frank Foley, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late, Richard Neenan, Paul Neenan, David Neenan, and Captain Kenneth Neenan.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service which will be held at the Chapel of New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, New Hampshire on Thursday, February 8th, 2024 at 12 Noon.
