PEABODY – Mr. Richard W. Fawcette, 89, of Peabody, a retired grower, husband of the late Patricia E. (Lemieux) Fawcette, passed at home on October 31st, 2025.

Born in Rutland, Vermont, Richard was the son of the late Richard O. and Avis E. (Lowey) Fawcette, he was raised in Danvers, received his education in the Danvers School System, and earned his degree from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.

Mr. Fawcette had been self employed as a greenhouse grower of perennial flowers for the past few years and had previously worked for thirty-seven years for the former Parker Brothers Games in Salem.

Richard is survived by one daughter, Robyn Fawcett of Florida, one son, Daniel Fawcette of Peabody, five grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

ARRANGEMENTS: All services for Richard will be held privately at his family's request.
