DANVERS - Richard J. Henshaw, Sr. 90, of Danvers, MA passed away in Beverly Hospital, January 19th, 2022. Born in Lynn, MA , he was the son of the late Charles and Florence (Bradshaw) Henshaw. Married in 1951, he was the loving husband of Elizabeth (MacLeod) Henshaw with whom he celebrated 70 years of marriage.

Richard served in the United States Navy and is a Veteran of the Korean War. His career following the Navy was in the HVAC service field till the time of his retirement.

He enjoyed spending time with his family. Richard will be missed and celebrated by those who knew him.

In addition to his loving wife, Elizabeth, Richard is survived by his sons; Richard J. Henshaw Jr and his wife, Vickie of Rowley, MA, Wayne Henshaw and his wife, Kerry of Groveland, MA, and David Henshaw of Rowley, MA, daughters; Priscilla Harding and her husband, Stig of Dunbarton, NH, and Diane Lonergan and her husband, Daniel of Ipswich, MA. Along with 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
