MIDDLETON – Mr. Richard S. Murphy, 63, passed away on Thursday, June 29th, 2023 at Beverly Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Salem, he was the son of Robert and Beryl (Simkins) Murphy. Richard graduated from Danvers High School and thereafter pursued a career in construction. Richard was skilled carpenter and loved working out in his yard. When he wasn't busy with his projects he enjoyed fishing, relaxing in his pool, and cooking a good meal.

In addition to his mother, Beryl Murphy, Richard is survived by his 3 children; Jason Murphy, Jessica Jackson, and Katelyn Bianchi-Coppola, along with his 5 grandchildren, his fiancé Deborah Weinstein, his sister Brenda Johnson, and many nieces and nephews He is preceded in death by his brother Kevin Murphy.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service held at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) DANVERS, on Friday, July 7th at 1 P.M. Visiting hours will be held prior from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, 30 Sylvan St, Danvers.
