IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Richard L.
Paolucci
September 5, 1934 – August 17, 2024
BEVERLY - Mr. Richard L. Paolucci, 89 of Beverly formerly of Peabody, beloved husband of Carol (Marino) Paolucci, passed away on Saturday, August 17th, 2024 at Beverly Hospital with his family by his side.
Born in Peabody, he was the son of the late Ermanno and Letizia (Lamonace) Paolucci. He was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School.
As a young man Richard had been employed by AC Lawrence Leather company and GTE Sylvania for several years. Later he went on to work for Mystic Automatic Sales as a vending machine repair technician for over 20 years. He retired as a machine operator from EG&G.
A loving husband, father and friend, Richard was a hands-on dad, he enjoyed being involved in his children's activities and sports and was very proud of their many accomplishments. Richard was a kind man and was generous with his time, volunteering countless hours at the Peter A. Torigian Senior Center and Council on Aging, especially in their workshop. A "Mr. Fixit" at heart Richard was happiest when someone would ask him to help with a project. He used his creativity to make toys for his children and his friends children which became cherished family heirlooms. Fun loving with an easy smile, Richard loved being surrounded by his family and friends enjoying a good party. Kindness and generosity are his hallmarks which will be remembered in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Surviving Richard in addition to his wife Carol are his sons, Michael Paolucci of Beverly and Marc Paolucci and his partner Carrie Burnham of Gloucester and many dear friends.
