Richard Dale Tubbs

BEVERLY – Mr. Richard Dale Tubbs, 81 of Beverly, loving husband of Ina Lynn (Driggers) Tubbs, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025 at Lahey Hospital in Burlington.

Born in Davenport, Iowa, Richard was the son of the late Cyril Dale Tubbs and Velma Louise (Luett) Hammerquist. He was raised and educated in Iowa before enlisting into the United States Marines.

Richard proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marines from 1961 until his honorable discharge in 1965. Upon his move to Massachusetts with his beloved wife Ina, Richard started his professional career working at Hallmark Dry Cleaning in Beverly where he devoted over 20 years and most recently as a beloved custodian for Ipswich High School for the last 20 years, retiring in 2021.

Richard worked hard to provide for his family and found great joy in spending time with them, especially his sons and beloved grandkids. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his beloved wife, Ina of Beverly; Richard is survived by his sons, Lucas Tubbs and his wife, Caitlin of Beverly, Richard Tubbs and his partner, Bethany DeLeon of Beverly, Mark Tubbs and Peter Tubbs; beloved granddaughters, Isabelle and Audrey Tubbs.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to Richard’s visitation which will be held at O’Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) DANVERS on Thursday, December 11th from 4 to 7 P.M.
