LYNN-Mr. Robert J. Quinn Jr., 79, of Lynn beloved husband of Susan (Thibodeau) Quinn passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Salem hospital with his family by his side.

Born in Arlington, he was the son of the late Robert Sr. and Jeanne (Blondin) Quinn. He was raised and educated in Arlington and Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School Class of 1965.

Following graduation Bob enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he proudly served his country as a Corporal completing two tours of duty during the Vietnam war. After returning from military duty, Bob embarked on a successful career as a General Merchandiser and Manager with prominent supermarket chains including Heartland, Purity Supreme and Stop and Shop where he dedicated over 30 years of his life. Known for his strong work ethic and keen attention to detail, he left a lasting impact on those with whom he worked.

A loving and devoted husband, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Bob was deeply committed to his family. He and Susan enjoyed traveling to Vermont every few months to connect with loved ones. An avid bowler he enjoyed over 40 years in the Elk’s bowling league where he delighted in the comradery of his many friends and fellow bowlers.
