IPSWICH - Mr. Robert L. Tilton, 68 of Ipswich, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro, NH with his family by his side. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Murray C. Tilton and Pauline (Holoway) Rubchinuk. Raised and educated in Ipswich, he graduated from Ipswich High School and continued his education at Beverly Community College earning his associates degree. A keen eye to detail, Robert worked as a production control specialist for various electrical companies throughout the North Shore. A devoted and proud Master Mason, Robert was a 40 year member of the John T. Heard Lodge A.F. & A.M in Ipswich. He was a loyal New England sports fan and enjoyed watching the many games. Robert was an avid outdoorsman and was a true Ipswich guy. He loved walking along Crane Beach and the Crane Estate and in his younger years would enjoy hiking with his brother and family. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. Robert is survived by his brother, Richard W. Tilton of AR, his niece, Jenny Daino and her husband Steve and their children Steven and Emily of PA and his nephew, Jeromy Tilton and his wife Beth and their children Sebastian and Pandora of New Ipswich, NH, his step-mother, Barbara Tilton of Middleton, his step-brother, Adam Ricker of Gloucester, his step-sister, Robin Ricker of Rochester, NH, and his niece, Kassandra and her son Lane of Farmington, NH.
ARRANGEMENTS: Robert's funeral service will be held in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) Danvers on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 11 A.M. Burial in Oakdale Cemetery, Middleton. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours on Thursday, October 10th from 4 to 7 P.M.
