Obituary

SILVER LAKE, NH – Mr. Robert William Vallette, 61, of Silver Lake, New Hampshire, and Beverly, Massachusetts, beloved husband of Anne (Decker) Vallette, passed away on Sunday, December 15th, 2024, at Lawrence General Hospital.

Born in Beverly, he was the son of Charlotte (Smith) Vallette and the late William J. Vallette. Raised in Topsfield, Bobby graduated from Masconomet Regional High School, Class of 1983.

Bobby's happiest moments were spent at his family camp in Silver Lake, New Hampshire, where he became known as the "unofficial mayor of the lake." With a deep appreciation and knowledge of the area's history, he delighted in giving tours to both friends and strangers, ensuring everyone felt welcomed and informed. An avid snowmobiler, he cherished his time exploring the trails, surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors.

Bobby was a natural-born salesman. No matter the industry, his talents consistently placed him at the top of sales charts. His gift of conversation, paired with his personable and genuine nature, endeared him to clients, colleagues, and friends alike.

A true people person, Bobby was one in a million. His warm, intentional, and honest personality made it easy for him to connect with others, building relationships that spanned generations, backgrounds, and distances. For Bobby, relationships were everything — whether with his devoted wife, his children, his parents, his siblings, or his countless friends, he was loyal, supportive, and always present during their times of need.

Bobby's ability to make everyone feel seen and valued left an indelible mark on all who knew him. With courage, conviction, and boundless love for his family and friends, he created an enormous network of relationships that will carry his memory forward. Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, Bobby's legacy will remain eternally in the hearts of those he touched.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Anne (Decker) Vallette of Beverly; his children, William C. Vallette of Beverly, Christopher J. Vallette of Gloucester, and Sarah E.J. Vallette of Beverly; his mother, Charlotte (Smith) Vallette of Topsfield; his siblings, Susan Saumsiegle and her husband, Scott, of Topsfield, and Richard Vallette of Florida; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother, John V. Vallette, and his grandparents, Lyman and Anna Smith of Beverly Farms, Massachusetts.
