DANVERS - Mrs. Robin Valentine Lobsitz, 97, of Danvers, formerly of Montclair, NJ, beloved wife of the late M. Michael "Mike" Lobsitz passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 26th, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Montclair, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Sydney and Florence (Davis) Valentine. She was raised and educated in Montclair and was a graduate of Montclair High School class of 1944. She continued her education receiving her bachelor's degree in chemistry from Duke University.

The quintessential mom, Robin embraced her role as mother and homemaker with grace and dedication, always putting her family first. Robin's unwavering love and acceptance created a warm and inviting home that was always open. She was involved in her children's activities, celebrating their many milestones, and supporting her husband in business always with love and support. She became involved in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, becoming Den mother and President of Troop 12 Mother's Club while encouraging her son to become an Eagle Scout. When her daughters became Girl Scouts, Robin volunteered to be a Troop leader. She never missed a sporting event or any other activity when her children were involved.  Robin found true happiness in caring for her loved ones and making cherished memories with them. Her love for travel, especially with her husband and children, allowed them to create unforgettable experiences, and memories together that will be cherished for generations. Known for her kind and compassionate nature, Robin devoted countless hours to serving her community. She generously volunteered for the Red Cross for over 34 years where she was involved in all aspects of the program, shopping for shut-ins, grocery shopping, dialysis transportation and for several years volunteer head of transportation. Robin was also a member of the Union Congregational Church in Montclair, where she dedicated her time to helping others. As a member of the Women's Club of Upper Montclair for most of her adult life, Robin contributed to the betterment of her community and the lives of those around her. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose spirit of love and kindness will continue to inspire and guide her family. Surviving Robin are her children, Richard Lobsitz and his wife Debra of Salem, MA, Wendy Westock and her husband, Jon of Selinsgrove, PA and Peg Mullaney and her husband, Frank of Weymouth, MA; her grandchildren, Matthew Lobsitz, Mark Lobsitz, Elizabeth Maniates, Nicholas Stephenson, Ashley Kendall, Thora Jurlina, Lara Sullivan, Michael Mullaney, and Benjamin Mullaney and her 15 great-grandchildren. Robin was also the grandmother of the late Andrew Stephenson.

ARRANGEMENTS : At the request of the family all services are private. Assisting the family with the arrangements is O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St. (Rte. 62) DANVERS.
