HAVERHILL - Mr. Ronald Glen Berry, 61 of Haverhill, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, April 24th, 2026.
Born in Beverly, Ron was the son of Edna Marie (Russell) Choquette and the late Thomas J. Berry. He was raised and educated in Peabody, attending Peabody Public Schools.
Following high school, Ron took modeling courses in Boston and relocated to Florida where he enjoyed the sunshine and the Florida pace to life.
Ron had a big heart and was a true warrior, battling against colon cancer and being a proud cancer survivor. He had many passions in life, including fashion and style, he loved cats, enjoyed collecting teddy bears and listening to music, especially Donna Summer who he admired. He was a loving and devoted son, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his beloved mother, Edna of Peabody, Ron is survived by his siblings, Christopher Berry and his partner, Leslie Smith of Salem, Thomas Berry and his partner, Ellen O’Brien of West Peabody, Rhonda Berry and her partner, AnnMarie Nicholas of Salisbury and Matthew Choquette of Peabody; his beloved nieces and nephews, Joshua Berry, Ian Berry, Samantha Berry, Callie Berry, Angelica Medina and Leah Choquette; and great-nieces and nephews, Luke, Cameron, Abigail, Finn, Isla, Regan, Dominic and Jameson; his dear aunt Kathy Cross of Hampton, NH; and dear friend and caretaker, Joe. Ron was predeceased by his father and dear brother, William “Billy” Choquette.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to Ron’s funeral which will be held at O’Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) DANVERS on Monday, May 4th at 11 A.M. His burial will be privately held. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, May 3rd from 2 to 5 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ron’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
