LYNN – Mrs. Ruth Che Elisma 58, of Lynn, died Friday, July 28th, 2023 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of Emilio Che and Altagracia Elisma Mois. She was raised and educated in the Dominican Republic and earned her Bachelors Degree in Phycology.
Mrs. Che Elisma was a Child Psychologist and worked for many years helping children in the Dominican Republic.
After immigrating to the United States, she resided in Lynn for many years. Her wisdom and guidance was often sought after by family and friends throughout the entirety of her life. Even in retirement she would often help children in need.
Devoted to her Christian faith, she relished time spent at her church, Iglesias Luz y Vida in Lynn. She would often spend time reading and study the bible and enjoyed bible study with family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed.
Ruth is survived by her son, Erick De La Cruz and his wife Denis of Lynn, her grandchildren, Derick and Destiny De La Cruz, her siblings, Mercedes Che, Betty Selys, Georgina Crispin, Emilio Che, Altagracia Che, Ana Che, Carmen Che, Ruth Esther Che, Ramona Che, Alcides Che and Jovanny and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will held graveside at Pine Grove Cemetery, 145 Boston St., Lynn, Friday, August 4th at 11 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Please meet at the Main Entrance (Boston Street) of Pine Grove Cemetery by 10:45 A.M. LYNN – La Sra. Ruth Che Elisma de 58 años, de Lynn, murió el viernes 28 de julio de 2023 en Kaplan Family Hospice House en Danvers rodeada de su amada familia.
Nacida en Santo Domingo, República Dominicana, era hija de Emilio Che y Altagracia Elisma Mois. Fue criada y educada en la República Dominicana y obtuvo su Licenciatura en Psicología.
La Sra. Che Elisma fue Psicóloga Infantil y trabajó durante muchos años ayudando a niños en la República Dominicana. Después de emigrar a los Estados Unidos, residió en Lynn durante muchos años. Su sabiduría y orientación a menudo fueron buscadas por familiares y amigos durante toda su vida. Incluso en la jubilación, a menudo ayudaba a los niños necesitados.
Dedicada a su fe cristiana, disfrutaba del tiempo que pasaba en su iglesia, Iglesias Luz y Vida en Lynn. A menudo pasaba tiempo leyendo y estudiando la Biblia y disfrutaba del estudio de la Biblia con familiares y amigos. Era una madre amorosa, abuela, hermana y tía a quien extrañaremos profundamente.
A Ruth le sobreviven su hijo, Erick De La Cruz y su esposa Denis of Lynn, sus nietos, Derick y Destiny De La Cruz, sus hermanos, Mercedes Che, Betty Selys, Georgina Crispin, Emilio Che, Altagracia Che, Ana Che, Carmen Che, Ruth Esther Che, Ramona Che, Alcides Che y Jovanny y muchas sobrinas, sobrinos y familia extendida.
