DANVERS - Mrs. Ruth Jean (LaCombe) Rich of Danvers, formerly of Lynn and Naples FL, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Wednesday, December 11th, 2024 at the age of 91.

Born to the late Wilbury Edward LaCombe and Irene (Hodgdon) LaCombe of Lynn, Massachusetts. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Frederick Rich, with whom she shared 71 years. Ruth was the middle child, and sister to the late Wilbury Edward (Bill) LaCombe, Jr. and Richard LaCombe and his wife Barbara of Chester, New Hampshire. Dear and devoted mother to Thomas Rich and his wife Lisa of Beverly, Timothy Rich and his wife Susan of Danvers, PJ Rich and his wife Margie of Danvers and the late Joseph F. Rich, Jr. and his surviving wife Debbie. She adored her grandchildren; Katharine Pimentel and her husband Michael of Wakefield, Jessica Fauteux and her husband Kevin of Lynnfield, Joseph F. Rich, III of Wakefield, Jason Rich and his wife Brittany of Danvers, Kristen Rich of Danvers, Ana and Alex Rich of Danvers and the late Jamie Rich of Danvers. As well as being blessed with 10 great-grandchildren.

Ruth was a graduate of Wakefield High School class of 1951. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was happiest raising her four boys and relished her time spent with her grandchildren. Ruth also had a passion for dogs, especially German Shepherds, who provided her with love and companionship for many years.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) DANVERS on Tuesday, December 17th, 2024 from 10 to 12 P.M.
