SALISBURY- Mr. Sean P. Mahoney, 60, of Salisbury, formerly of Salem, beloved husband of the late Kathleen (Pappas) Mahoney, passed away on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022, at his home.

Born in Cambridge, Ohio, he was the son of  Margaret (Roscoe) Mahoney and the late Francis P. Mahoney. He was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School.

An honorably discharged veteran, Mr. Mahoney proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army.

Following his discharge from the service, Sean went to work for Bradlees Department Store. He moved on to the former Michaud Bus Line as a bus driver for several years, eventually finishing his professional career at the General Electric Company, where he worked for many years as a machinist until the time of his retirement.

A loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, Sean was happiest when surrounded by family, especially his grandkids. He had a passion for photography and enjoyed taking pictures of his favorite subjects, his grandchildren and memorializing their milestones and activities through his photographs. He was an avid gun collector and was a motorcycle enthusiast, who enjoyed riding whenever he could. He was outgoing and full of life and had a bit of the Irish luck when it came to the lottery as he won often. Sean will be fondly remembered for his zest for life, his outgoing personality and deeply missed by his loving family and friends.
