Miss Skyy Juliana Lopez, 8 years old, beloved daughter of Fatima (Negron) Lopez and David Anthony Lopez, entered eternal rest in the arms of our Lord on Wednesday, May 22nd following a valiant battle with Pediatric Cancer.

Skyy was a blessing to Fatima and David from the day of her birth. She entered the world with a smile on her face and throughout her life it was her calling card and hallmark. Always greeting others with an ear-to-ear grin that had the power to lighten up the darkest of rooms.

Skyy loved music, crafts, drawing, playing chess with her brother, minions, making home videos with her stuffies, and practicing Tae Kwon Do where she earned a purple belt. She relished time spent at the park and Salem Willows was on her favorites list. She had a particular passion for her Baby Shark, Squishmallows, and I Heart Guts. For such a young woman, Skyy had a great understanding of Human Anatomy, which left her doctors in awe of her knowledge.

Skyy was happiest spending time with her family and even more herself when with her best friend (BFF) Naya Cruz. Their friendship was a true blessing. Skyy showed great courage and strength in her fight with cancer. Through it all she kept an ever-present smile on her face as she was full of love, and her love lives on in the hearts and minds of all she touched.

Skyy is survived by her parents Fatima (Negron) Lopez and David Anthony Lopez, her brother, David Julian Lopez, her maternal grandparents, German and Filomena Negron, her paternal grandmother, Lesbia Lopez, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was the granddaughter of the late Jose Euclides Lopez.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral services will be held at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 84 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) SALEM, MA on Wednesday May 29th, 2024. Visiting hours from 10:00 am to 12 noon. Prayer service to begin at 12 Noon. Family and friends are welcome. Burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. All are invited to a Reception from 2 pm to 4 pm at 1 Apple Road Beverly, MA 01915 at the conclusion of all services. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Skyy's memory to the Pediatric Oncology Fund for Families at Mass General for Children.
