BEVERLY – Mrs. Sylvia (Gentile) Servizio, 92, known as a woman with a heart of gold, passed away Monday, July 15th, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Servizio.

Born in Beverly, MA on November 23rd, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Florence (Rossi) Gentile. She was a lifelong resident of the city of Beverly and had attended Beverly public schools.

Mrs. Servizio had been employed at New England Telephone, becoming a homemaker to care for her children where she enjoyed cooking, playing bingo, coffee with her friends and watching sports, especially the Boston Celtics and New England Patriots. After becoming a cherished crossing guard for Beverly Public Schools, she retired to treasure moments with her family and her late beloved dog, Cody, beach days and Florida vacations, in her free time. An out going woman, who loved shopping, dinners out and trips to the casino, she will be remembered for her love of family, most of all.

Sylvia is survived by her two sons, Stephen Servizio and his wife, Sheila of Billerica, Michael Servizio and his wife, Jean of Peabody; her daughter, Pamela Servizio and her fiancé, Robert MacArthur of Beverly, five grandchildren Jennifer Beurekjian, Melissa Sullivan, Kimberly Sanborn, Nicole Medeiros, Anthony Servizio and their spouses; 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Margaret Klimaszewski.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebration, 167 Maple St., (rte 62) DANVERS, Friday, July 19th at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends invited.
