MELROSE - Mrs. Theresa E. (Beaudry) Hunter 97, of Melrose formerly of Portland, Maine, Wilmington, Ma and Safety Harbor, Florida, beloved wife of the late Delbert L. Hunter for 69 years, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at Oostermans Rest Home with her loving family by her side.

Born in Yarmouth, Maine, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Doucet) Beaudry. She was raised and educated in Maine and was a graduate of Portland High School Class of 1946.

While raising her children, Theresa had been employed at Kelly's Seafood & Steak restaurant in North Reading for over twenty years. Raising and caring for her family, Theresa believed this to be her most important job and she loved every minute of it. She took great pride in her family and their many accomplishments. She was a frequent volunteer for her children's school activities. Theresa was over the moon when her grandchildren came along and looked forward to doting over this next generation of family which she did every chance she got. Theresa was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who was funny, and outgoing with a great sense of humor that endeared her to many. Her easy laugh and her contagious zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving Theresa is her daughter Pamela Cote and her husband Donald of Peabody, her grandchildren Paul and Elizabeth Hunter, Maria Hunter, former daughter-in-law of Denmark, Maine along with several nieces and nephews. She was also the loving mother of the late Stephen Hunter and sister of the late, Frances Irvine, Marie Espinosa, James Beaudry and Patricia Beaudry.

ARRANGEMENTS: At the request of the family all services are private. A celebration of her life will be held this Summer.
