SALEM - Mr. Thomas W. Cudmore, 73 of Salem, beloved husband of Carol (Terry) Cudmore, died Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Chester and Sarah (Waldman) Cudmore. Raised and educated in Salem, he was a graduate of Salem High School, class of 1961. Mr. Cudmore had been employed at Winslow's Potato Chip Company in Marblehead and the Wachusett Potato Chip Company for many years. Most recently, Thomas had been employed as a Supervisor at ITW Devcon in Danvers for the past 20 years until the time of his retirement. A loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, family was paramount in Thomas' life. He enjoyed traveling and venturing on many cruises with his wife and friends. He was an avid golfer, loved supporting the many New England Sports Teams and enjoyed working throughout his yard. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his wife Carol with whom he shared 30 years of marriage, Thomas is survived by his daughters; Debora Cudmore-Marigny and Michelle Cudmore both of California, his step-daughter; Rebecca Gagnon of Bellows Falls, Vermont, his son; Thomas Cudmore, Jr. of Marblehead, his step-sons; Michael Terry of Salem, John Gagnon of Ft. Meyers, FL and Timothy Gagnon of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, his 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, his brother; Joseph Cudmore of Arlington, TX and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Rose Jalbert.
