PEABODY – Thomas Henry Mansell, 77, formerly of Salem, beloved husband of Angela (Kostopoulos) Mansell, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025 at Rosewood Nursing Home in Peabody. Born in Salem, he was the son of the late William and Evelyn (Souza) Mansell.

Tommy was raised and educated in Salem, a graduate of Salem High School. He went on to attend Salem State University, earning his bachelor's degree in social work. Professionally, Tommy worked as a health aide for Group Homes of Massachusetts, where he dedicated himself to helping others with compassion and care.

Tommy was a devoted father and grandfather who cherished time with his family. In his younger years, he was known as a big partier who loved being surrounded by friends and laughter. He enjoyed being active and social, whether it was playing in a dart league, competing in bowling, or spending a sunny afternoon out on the golf course. No matter the game, Tommy brought his easygoing spirit and love of fun to every moment. He also had a lifelong passion for music, with a special love for the blues.

Tommy brought joy to his grandchildren by dressing up as Santa at Christmas, creating memories they will never forget. He was a longtime member of Eastgate Christian Fellowship, where his faith was an important part of his life.

He will be remembered for his fun-loving spirit, his devotion to family, and his generous heart.

In addition to his parents, Tommy is predeceased by his brother, Bobby Harrison, and his sister, Edith Conway.

Tommy is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Angela (Kostopoulos) Mansell of Peabody, his daughter, Elaina Kassis of Beverly, his sons, Peter Kassis of Dover, NH and Paul Kassis of Beverly, his grandchildren, Katrina Pierce and her husband Nicholas, Ava Kassis, Rebecca Boulay, Jonathan Kassis, Isabella Kassis, Sophia Kassis, and Theo McInerney, many nieces and nephews, and his best friend since childhood, Joe Lilly.

ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service for Tommy will take place on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 11AM to be held at O'Donnell Cremations -Funerals - Celebrations, 84 Washington Square (at SALEM COMMON), SALEM.
