SALEM - Mr. Timothy Lewis Hagen, 62, of Salem, beloved partner of Donna Linscott of Salem, died Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Salem Hospital surrounded by his loving family following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Salem, he was the son of Mary T. (Farinelli) Hagen and the late Frederick J. Hagen Sr. He was raised and educated in Salem and attended Salem High School. An honorably discharged veteran, he proudly served his country first as a member of the United States Army and then the United States Marine Corps as a Rifleman Sharpshooter. Mr. Hagen had been employed in the construction industry for many years until the time of his retirement. A lifelong resident of the City of Salem, he was a long-time member of the former Ward II Social Club in Salem. Tim was devoted to his family. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother and uncle and always enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed. Tim is survived by his mother, Mary T. (Farinelli) Hagen of Salem, his children, Timothy Hagen and his wife Brianne of Southboro, Nicole Hagen and her husband Eric of Nashua, N.H., Suad Hagen, Dylan Hagen and Joshua Hagen, all of Concord, the mother of his children, Carol Montalto of Concord, his grandchildren, Jeremy Dunajski, Dequan Hagen, Nayshla Jones, Jailyn Jones, Arianna Jones, Bryson Jones, Nolan Hagen, Allie Hagen, his siblings, Mary Turcotte and her husband Emile of Danvers, Judith Barker and her husband Frank of Beverly, John Hagen of Salem, Dorothy Lavoie of Salem, David Hagen of Salem, Patrick Hagen and his wife Maureen of Salem, Donna Kontarasis and her husband John of Salem, Kathy Braley and her husband Calvin of Fairfield, ME and Jimmy Hagen and his wife Lori of Lynn, his partner Donna Linscott of Salem and her children, Thomas Linscott and his fiancé Nicole of Beverly and their son Jacob Linscott and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the father of the late Todd Dunajski, son of the late Frederick J. Hagen Sr., brother of the late Frederick J. Hagen Jr. and Daniel E. Hagen and great grandson of the late John P. Riley, Congressional Medal of Honor recipient.
ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral will be held from The O'Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem, Monday, July 2nd at 10 A.M. followed by his funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, Hawthorne Blvd., Salem at 11 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial is private. Visiting hours Sunday, July 1st from 2 to 5 P.M. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Tim's memory to the American Cancer Society, 75 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
