RAYMOND, NH - Mr. Timothy G. McSweeney, 63, of Raymond, NH, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Anna Jacques Hospital in Newburyport.
Born in Boston, he was the son of Nano (Monson) McSweeney and the late Cornelius McSweeney. He was raised and educated in Kittery, Maine and Swampscott and was a graduate of Swampscott High School. Mr. McSweeney continued his education attending Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston.
An entrepreneur at heart, Timothy owned and operated T. McSweeney Auto Body in Salem for many years. He was known for his strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail. Well respected in the Auto Body community he was often sought after for his expertise and lent his skills to Pride Auto, Liberty Chevrolet and most recently Priority Jeep in Salisbury.
Generous, honest and hardworking, Tim loved to build and fix things and was always ready to lend a hand to anyone who needed help with a project. He had a great sense of humor that endeared him to many and a laugh that everyone knew. He loved boating and his motorcycle and recently signed as a member of the NRA. Tim was well loved and will be remembered for his love of family, his happy, outgoing personality and deeply missed by his loving family and many dear friends.
Surviving Timothy are his children, Kelly McSweeney and her fiancé Charles Brennick of Raymond, NH, Lisa Durant and her husband Robert of Boxford and James McSweeney and his girlfriend Therese MacDonald of Salem, his grandchildren, Miesha McSweeney and Audrey and Logan Durant and his brother, Shawn Minihane of New Hampshire.
ARRANGEMENTS: At the request of the family, all services are private at this time. Assisting the family with the arrangements is O'Donnell Cremations - Funerals -Celebrations, 167 Maple St., Danvers, MA 01923.
