BOXFORD - Mr. Timothy Christian "Tim" Glendinning, 20, of Boxford, died unexpectedly, following a tragic accident with a motor vehicle on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in Beverly.
Born in Beverly he was the beloved son of Timothy and Barbara Jean (Barker) Glendinning. Raised and educated in Boxford, he attended the Cole School, the Spofford School and was a graduate of Masconomet Regional High School, class of 2015. Timothy continued his education and was entering his Junior year at Endicott College where he was studying Business Marketing with a minor in Computer Science.
A talented athlete, he loved sports and excelled in soccer, lacrosse and baseball. Tim was very adventurous and enjoyed exploring, skate boarding and was a member of the Adventure Club at Endicott College. Popular and well respected, he was known for his bright smile, his team spirit and one who could always be depended on by his friends.
Artistically gifted, he was an amateur graphic artist who loved to express himself in many unique ways. He often chronicled his adventures, thoughts and observations. He created his own unique path in his life and loved to bring others along for a glimpse into his view on the world. He had a deep passion for the ocean which often propelled him to spent many hours along the sea shore. It was his special place and he found great peace with sand between his toes and the sound of waves breaking in the air. Tim was loved by many and will be deeply missed by his loving family and many friends.
In addition to his loving parents, Timothy and Barbara, he is survived by his sister, Katherine Elizabeth Glendinning of Boxford, his maternal grandparents, George & Grace Barker of Middletown, N.J., his paternal grandparents William and Viola Glendinning of South Bristol, Maine, his aunts and uncles, William Glendinning, Jay Glendinning and his wife Melissa, Shawn Glendinning and Priscilla Glendinning all of South Bristol, Maine, Tor Glendinning and his wife Amy of New Castle, Maine and Brigette Sorensen and her husband Herlof of Newtown, Connecticut and Laura Dugan and her husband Martin "Buddy" and Joyce Abrahamsen and her husband Waren all of Middletown, New Jersey, and many cousins and extended family.
ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral Mass will be held in St. Rose of Lima Church, Park St., Topsfield, Monday, Sept. 11th, at 11 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial service at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Boxford. Visiting hours in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (rte 62) Danvers, Sunday, Sept. 10th from 2 to 6 P.M.
