DANVERS – Tina M. Phinney, 68, of Beverly, formerly of Danvers, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2026, at Lahey Medical Center in Burlington, with her loving nieces by her side.
Born in Portland, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Douglas Sr. and Ruth (Horne) Phinney. Tina was raised and educated in Danvers and graduated from Danvers High School, Class of 1976. She spent most of her life in Danvers and dedicated over 23 years of her career to Maytronics and Cheminer in North Andover.
Tina was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend whose greatest joy in life was simply being with her family. Whether gathered around the table for a home-cooked meal, watching a favorite movie, or sharing stories and laughter. She was known for her quick wit and playful sense of humor, always ready with a joke or a comment that would leave everyone smiling.
She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures: a good book, an afternoon spent crafting, trying out a new recipe, or relaxing with a movie she’d seen a dozen times before. In earlier years, she also enjoyed traveling and making memories along the way. Those who knew Tina will remember her warmth, her laughter, and the comfort of her presence, someone who made people feel at home just by being there.
Tina is survived by her nephews, Benjamin Phinney and his wife, Emily, of Cold Spring, Kentucky, and Burke Phinney and his wife, Kylie, of Meridian, Idaho; her nieces, Jennifer Tenney and her husband, Travis, and their children, Carson and Forrest, of Epping, New Hampshire, and Kelly Hawkes of Warner, New Hampshire; her sister, Lorraine Montgomery of Waldoboro, Maine; as well as many cousins and close friends. She was predeceased by her brothers, Douglas Phinney Jr. and Timothy Phinney, and her nephew, Douglas Phinney III.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend Tina's funeral service on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at O’Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple Street (Route 62), Danvers at 11:00 AM.
