MERRIMAC-Mrs. Virginia May "Ginny" Woodbury, 84, of Merrimac, formerly of Danvers, beloved wife of Stephen Woodbury, passed away Monday December 30, 2019 at Wingate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Haverhill surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Roderick and Katherine (Kidston) Grace. She was raised and educated in Somerville and was a graduate of Danvers High School. Virginia continued her education at a Boston Business School.

Mrs. Woodbury had been employed as Bookkeeper for M & M Printing for many years and prior to her retirement had been employed by Nutrisystem as an Office Manager where she was known for her attention to detail and for keeping the day to day operations running smoothly.

A loving and wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, family was paramount. She was passionate about providing a warm and loving home for her family and was especially devoted to her grandchildren. She was an extremely classy lady with refined tastes, who set high standards for herself and her family. She was outgoing, loved to throw good party and had a quick smile that endeared her to many.

A longtime resident of the Town of Danvers, Virginia was an active member of the First Congregational Church of Danvers and was a Girl Scout leader for many years. Athletically inclined, she was an avid golfer and enjoyed skiing. Virginia had a thirst for knowledge and was an enthusiastic reader. She will be fondly remembered for her love of family, her devotion to faith and community and will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

Surviving Virginia in addition to her husband Stephen with whom she shared 45 years of marriage is her daughter, Deborah Fauth and her husband Richard of Salem, NH, her sons, Thomas Roy and his wife Linda of Marlborough, MA, and Gary Roy and his wife Lori of NH, her step-sons, Mark Woodbury and his wife Shirley of Litchfield, NH, Brian Woodbury of Litchfield, ME and Todd Woodbury and his wife Cheryl of Londonderry, NH, her brother William Grace of Reading and sister, Jessie Smith of Holliday, FL, her 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St. (Rte. 62) Danvers on Monday January 6, 2020 at 4 PM. Relatives and friends invited.
