DANVERS – Mr. William Javier Figueroa 58, of Danvers, formerly of Peabody, beloved husband of Valdilene (Sett) Figueroa, died unexpectedly while visiting his son of a medical incident in Seekonk.

Born in Manati, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Olga (Baez) Figueroa and the late Antonio Figueroa. He was raised and educated in Peabody and attended Peabody Veterans Memorial High School. While in High School William competed and excelled as a member of the Varsity Tanners Football Team.

A longtime resident of the North Shore, Mr. Figueroa had been employed as a Automotive Mechanic as well as in the Security field in the entertainment industry.

Always the life of the party, Billy had a huge personality and was quick to laugh. He took great pleasure in bringing a smile to the face of others. He was a loving husband and devoted father and caring grandfather. He was happiest when at family gatherings and parties surrounded by those he loved. He was a die-hard New York Yankees Fan and was very proud of his team in pinstripes. Above all else he will be remembered for his love and devotion to his family.

William is survived by his loving wife Valdilene (Sett) Figueroa of Danvers, his son, William Nicholas Figueroa of Seekonk, his daughter, Jenera Martell of Peabody, his grandchildren, Jennalee, Zaylinanna, Zaniyah and Davanni, his sisters, Gladys Morales, Evelyn Figueroa, Maribel Figueroa, Marilyn Figueroa, Maria Figueroa, Sonya Figueroa and Maria Hall, his brothers, Luis Figueroa and Jose Luis Figueroa and many nieces nephews and extended family. He was the brother of the late Gladys Figueroa and Jose Figueroa.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral service will be held at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (rte 62) DANVERS, Friday, Nov. 4 ^th at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours prior to the service from 10  A.M. to 12 Noon. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody, Saturday, Nov. 5 ^th at 11 A.M.
