NORTH ANDOVER – Mr. William H. Stacy, 79, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022. Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Norman and Hazel (Felt) Stacy.

Mr. Stacy was raised and educated in Danvers, attending and graduating from Danvers High School. William went on to further his education at North Shore Community College and Northeastern University where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Education, and then accomplished his Masters Degree in Law Enforcement. William had a love for knowledge, as well as the community. He honorably served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war and later went on to serve the Danvers community as a Police Officer for 32 years before retiring.

William loved spending time with his family, he enjoyed sports, especially basketball. He rooted for his beloved Celtics and had the pleasure of playing his favorite sport throughout his high school and college careers.

William is survived by his children; William D. Stacy, his wife Karin of Merrimac, Miriam O'Connor, her husband Chip of Manasquan, NJ, his grandchildren Olivia and William Stacy, as well as his partner of 14 years Maureen Connell Schaufenbil.

ARRANGEMENTS - Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) DANVERS, Sunday, July 24th from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. Immediately followed by his Funeral Service at 3 P.M.
